The rise of the house of Joseph, part 15

After the War of the Shields, wherein we took Theos captive, I went into prayer at 8:15 p.m. on July 9, 2001. I then discovered that I had come under attack, which began just 15 minutes earlier at 8:00. This time it was a personal attack against me, though at first I did not realize this.

About a half hour later, I received a telephone call from my prayer partners, and I asked them to pray to see if we were under attack again. They did so and found that “we” were NOT under attack. So I told them, “Perhaps you should redefine ‘we’.” They then prayed about each of the five people who had been conducting these previous battles and found that I was the only one under attack.

I had been attacked (in the Divine Court) by 100,000 unclean spirits from a coalition of countries, led by two Princes from South America, one Commander, and 16 Powers. The two Princes were the only remaining Princes in South America after our recent battle. Of the 16 Powers, 7 were from South America, 5 from Antarctica, 1 from Africa, 1 from Asia, 1 from the Dominican Republic, and 1 from Nicaragua.

The Lord gave us the name of the Archprince of South America: Confining Poor People. We discovered July 10 that after he lost the July 9^th battle against me Apollyon demoted him to the rank of Commander. That sounded like an improvement, but who can say?

In praying about this further, we discovered that Apollyon, the Archprince of Asia and Africa, filed a petition against me in the Divine Court of Appeals, claiming that I had treated Theos in an unlawful manner after we had taken him captive. We had been led to pray that Theos would be “reabsorbed” But we had solved the earlier problem by calling upon Gabriel to bind him. Then we prayed that Theos would be “reabsorbed” back into the Father.

Apparently, they thought this was mistreating Theos, as it was an unusual way to handle it. But the Judge ruled in our favor. We had indeed been so led.

I Thank God Prayer Campaign

On the night of July 9, after finishing the battle and answering the court appeals, the Lord told us to meet again with our wives the next day, July 10, at 12:30 p.m. for prayer. This was a bit unusual. So the next day I decided to leave the office late morning and wait at home for the conference call. While waiting, Darla and I went into prayer together to learn the names of the two princes that Gideon’s Army had taken captive in the previous battle. The names were: Prince of Blotting Out Revelation and Prince of Detesting.

Then we prayed to learn the name of the Commander that we had bound as well. The Lord began to give us Scripture (as usual) to describe his character. As He gave us the third scripture, suddenly we lost communication. This was at 12:36 p.m. just six minutes after we were scheduled to gather around the conference call.

I remember the first time this happened to me. I did not know why we had lost communication with the Father. I had to call Robert (in California) and ask him to pray. It turned out to be a simple matter of applying the blood of Jesus to the situation. There was no cause for alarm. But such things can mess with your mind in the heat of the moment.

So Darla and I immediately prayed to turn aside whatever force was coming against us and to plead the blood of Jesus Christ over us. This immediately opened up the lines of communication again, and the Lord told us that we were again under spiritual attack.

“Apollyon is giving orders in this battle. He has taken command over the remaining spiritual army in South America. You are under attack personally by three million unclean spirits, led by 2 Princes from Asia. With them are 17 Commanders. Nine are from Asia, two from Africa, three from South America, two from Nicaragua, and one from [the island of] Haiti. There are also 1,024 Powers against you.”

“Is this battle specifically directed at me?”

“Yes.”

“When will this battle end?”

“Sunday, July 16, 2001 at 10:01 a.m. CST.”

“Is the Commander of Confining Poor People among those attacking me?”

“Yes.”

“Have there been any complaints filed against me in the heavenly courts?”

“No, nor do they have any lawful grounds against you. This is a personal attack against you by Apollyon. He was alarmed when he discovered two days ago at the Court of Appeals that you had the calling to bind him by the hand of Peniel, your angel.”

“Is there a Scripture that I should stand upon in this battle?”

“Yes, Philippians 1:3. (“I thank my God in all my remembrance of you.”)

“Is it to thank You continually for the victory whenever I think to do so?”

“Yes.”

“How many unclean spirits have been sent against me from South America?”

“All 900,000 that remained after the last battle. After this battle, I will have you lay claim to South America for the Kingdom of God. Do this at 9:00 a.m. CST, Monday, July 16, 2001.”

“Do these troops include the unclean spirits that possess people in South America?”

“No. The unclean spirits sent against you include only those inhabiting inanimate objects such as idols, trees, or rocks. No unclean spirits possessing people or animals are involved in this conflict. Over a billion of them still remain in South America. The same is true in America.”

About 3:00 p.m. I returned to the office to try to get some work done for the day. At 6:30 p.m. I returned home and again went into prayer, asking if there was anything urgent that required my immediate attention. The Lord told me that I was to file a complaint against Apollyon in the Heavenly Court of Appeals on the grounds of his false accusation, for unlawfully attacking me, and for attacking America, the Bride.

That was when I discovered that this personal attack had suddenly broadened into a wider conflict against America itself, utilizing a huge army from Europe.

But first things first. The Lord gave me Mark 14:11 as the basis of my legal appeal, which says, “And they were glad when they heard this, and promised to give him money.” This passage deals with Judas and the temple priests. As a result of this, I was led to read before the Court Psalm 63:1-7, 13-36, and from Psalm 109:1-5, 12-30. These passages are David’s complaint to God regarding Ahithophel, his counselor and friend who betrayed him in the Absalom rebellion. These passages are prophetic of Judas and of Jesus’ crucifixion.

The practical result of this appeal is that it “wounded” Apollyon (legally speaking), even as he had “wounded” our angels by filing an appeal in the Heavenly Court. We are all subject to the law of God, who stands above both sides of this conflict. Whoever is in violation of the law is at a disadvantage and cannot ultimately win a conflict.

“Twenty-one million unclean spirits have been dispatched from Europe to fight against America, along with all 13 of their remaining Princes and 9,996 Commanders. Satan himself gave this order, placing them under the command of Apollyon.”

Having seen the intensity of a battle with just 100,000 troops, I had been shocked when we were attacked by three million from South America. But now with a massive army of 21 million, it was a very sobering experience. I wondered if we might need some reinforcements ourselves. So I asked, “Are there just 32,000 angels in Gideon’s Army?”

“Yes.”

“Should I request some reinforcements?”

“No, they are sufficient.”

In a court battle, it makes no difference how many people support one side or the other. All that really matters is who is guilty of breaking the law and who is justified. Exodus 23:2 gives instructions for the judges: “You shall not follow the masses in doing evil.” This law is part of the nature of our Judge in the Divine Court, so He will always be true to Himself and follow this law.

By the end of the evening Gideon’s Army had taken captive all of the original 3 million unclean spirits and their leaders and had begun to battle the European army. By morning we had taken between 3.1 and 3.2 million of the European army captive, along with two of their Princes and 85 Commanders. At this rate, it would take about four days to complete the warfare, so I suspected that we would have some more surprises before this battle was concluded.

July 11, 2001: America Attacked

At 8:00 a.m. we were attacked by another army of 60 million unclean spirits primarily from Asia and Africa. The sheer numbers was enough to make me gasp, but the Lord said that this would not postpone the end of the battle this Sunday. It did not seem to worry Him, and there was no further requirement that I was to do about it. So I took heart in this. Nonetheless, this was the greatest attack on America itself that I had ever witnessed.

By the end of this day Gideon’s Army captured and bound all of the 21 million unclean spirits and their leaders from Europe and had begun to decimate the ranks of the 60 million spirits from Asia and Africa who had attacked us. I noticed that the rate of capture was very high compared to the beginning of the battle. I did not know why until I was told later that a number of people had been led to pray and fast for me that week.

By the end of the evening, we had captured and bound ten million of the sixty million, along with 7 of the 10 Princes of that army. By 8:30 the next morning, about 25 million had been captured with 9 of their 10 princes. It soon became apparent that numbers of the enemy made no difference in the outcome of the battle.

By the same token, the smallness of our numbers went to prove that man was not doing the battle, but that it was the Lord’s battle. This was the point God was making to Gideon when he said in Judges 7:4, “The people [in Gideon’s Army] are yet too many.” God brought it down to just 300 in his day, so that it would be clear that it was not done by the strength of man.

These battles began with a few hundred unclean spirits and ended with literally billions of them fighting us. The number of his troops made no difference in the outcome. This had become a world war that he could win. He knew then that his end was near. And we knew it, too.

By the night of July 12, this final world battle had been won. A little work was left for the next few days. Apollyon was the last to be bound on July 14, and two days later God installed the Archangels over the earth’s continents.

Keep in mind that spiritual time is not the same as earth time. The battles won in the heavens do not often come into the world immediately. The Bible speaks of spiritual battles that were won thousands of years ago, yet only those who see such victories by the eye of faith know that the victory has been ensured. Christ’s death on the cross is a prime example of this. This was the ultimate victory, putting all things under His feet; and yet, Hebrews 2:8 testifies, “but now we do not yet see all things subjected to Him.”

God uses time to prove men’s faith and to distinguish the faithful from the doubters. In the case of our own battles, the overcomers have already won the battle for America and for the world. Though we do not yet see this victory in the world, we have seen it by the Spirit and have no doubt that this will be the outcome in the end.

The house of Joseph, united with the house of David, is rising and will not be stopped.

“July is like September.” Hence, July 11 is like September 11, when the battle fully emerged in the world with the demolition of the Twin Towers. The newspapers screamed their headlines saying, "AMERICA ATTACKED." But that event was merely an earthly reflection and manifestation of the spiritual attack on America two months earlier. We won that war, by the way, and this victory will ultimately be seen in the earth.
