The Twin Towers demolition was the culmination of a long series of events beginning with the 1987 revelation that Bill Clinton was to become president. Soon afterward it was revealed that Bill and Hillary would act as prophetic types of King Ahab and Jezebel. God revealed many things throughout the 1990’s and led us to do many important projects; however, the Clinton administration stood at the forefront of revelation during that time.
The time of “King Ahab” did not end with George Bush’s inauguration in January of 2000. It actually ended on September 19, 2001. By linking this event to Bill Clinton’s humbling three years earlier, God proved Himself to be sovereign and showed that the world was not spinning out of control.
There is no need to fear, because nothing happens outside of the divine plan. Many things are done in violation of His will (thelema), but, as Paul asks in Romans 9:19, who can resist His plan (boulema)? Though men had evil plans in taking down the Twin Towers, God used it to bring judgment upon America, not so that the nation would be destroyed—or even enslaved—but that the people would return to God and seek His face.
God Bless America
We saw the dramatic scene on the Capital steps, where virtually all the members of the US government sang God Bless America.

God certainly has a sense of humor. He uses irony with great skill. He tricked the entire US government into petitioning God to turn their hearts from their iniquity—for that is the biblical meaning of “bless” in Acts 3:26.
Will their prayer be answered? Did God devise an elaborate plan leading up to this event only to fail in the end? Did He not have us begin praying “God Bless America” nearly six months earlier as a pattern for the nation? Many may think that the US government sang God Bless America as an act of their own free will, but as I see it, God subjected their will to His own will.
In fact, our prayer campaign on March 22-24, 2001, where we were instructed to pray “God Bless America,” established the pattern for the nation itself. In other words, God subjected the will of the US government to our will, because we were in agreement with God. God’s will was our will. Jesus said in John 15:7, 8,
7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. 8 My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples.
Many have been taught that this means we can have whatever we want. But Jesus was referring to those who abide in Him. This means a lot more than just being “saved.” It means that the will of God has merged with our own will. It means we are in full agreement with Him. There was never a prayer that Jesus prayed which was not answered. Why? Because He did nothing of His own initiative. He was His Father’s Special Agent. In John 5:30 Jesus said,
30 I can do nothing on My own initiative. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is just, because I do not seek My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.
The sooner we learn the meaning of this, the sooner we will do the works of Christ. In fact, all of the revelation that we have received in the past, and all of the work that we have done, has value only inasmuch as it reflected the mind and will of our heavenly Father. We may certainly present our own petitions to Him, according to our own will, but in the end, we subject our will to His.
All of this has been instructive so that we gain understanding and grow to spiritual maturity. One measure of spiritual maturity is how closely our will is aligned to His. Being an Amen person is not achieved in a day. It takes time and experience. Growth is incremental.
Many of you were with us and were participants in past prayer campaigns. Your participation itself brought about spiritual growth. Many also took leading roles at times. Many were given key revelations without which the battles could not have been won. Everyone was important, even if they were simply in agreement with us. Do not think that you must take the lead in order to be blessed with spiritual growth. We all follow the same Leader, Jesus Christ, who leads us in ways that bring about spiritual growth.
The Call for Grace
The biblical languages used their letters as numbers. Hence, every letter, word, verse, paragraph, etc. has a numeric value. The numeric value of Jesus in Greek is 888. Lord is 800. Christ is 1480. It happens that the Greek word charis, “grace,” has a numeric value of 911. In America, a “911 call” is an emergency call for help.
As we saw it, on September 11, 2001 God motivated the US government to issue an emergency call for grace (911) on behalf of the nation when they sang God bless America. Essentially the entire US government, without realizing it, of course, came into agreement with our prayer campaign six months earlier, when we were first instructed to begin praying, “God Bless America.”
Where two or three are in agreement with the word of God, truth is established. What happens when the entire US government comes into agreement with us? Will our prayer be ignored? Of course not. A change of heart and the removal of iniquity is guaranteed. The call for grace will be answered and is even now being answered. The plan of God takes time, of course—usually much more time than we wish—but it is yet inevitable, because God is sovereign.
Not only America but the world itself will turn to Jesus Christ. He will be the King. His plan is not to force everyone to submit to Him by force. That would be too easy and would not give Him much glory. His plan is to turn the hearts of the nations, so that they will want to proclaim Him as their King. That is the method of the God of love.
In my view, this will be accomplished by a world-wide outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Until that happens, we should consider ourselves to be doing preparatory work, much like John the Baptist prepared the way for Christ’s first work in the earth. In fact, as we will see later, the final phase of the preparation work began on April 12, 2009. While John the Baptist was the “Elijah” of his day, preparing the way for Christ’s first coming, we ourselves launched the “Elisha” work in 2009 to prepare the way for His second coming.
Do Not Return to Egypt
On the night of July 11, 2001, as we were overcoming the huge demonic attack, we were led to pray for the overcomers so that they would not “return to Egypt.” This was a reference to Isaiah 30:1, 2 and Isaiah 31:1-3.
Isaiah 30:1, 2 says,
1 “Woe to the rebellious children,” declares the Lord, “who execute a plan, but not Mine, and make an alliance, but not of My Spirit, in order to add sin to sin; 2 who proceed down to Egypt without consulting Me, to take refuge in the safety of Pharaoh and to seek shelter in the shadow of Egypt!”
This is explained further in Isaiah 31:1, 3,
1 Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help and rely on horses, and trust in chariots because they are many and in horsemen because they are very strong, but they do not look to the Holy One of Israel, nor seek the Lord!... 3 Now the Egyptians are men and not God, and their horses are flesh and not spirit; so the Lord will stretch out His hand, and he who helps will stumble and he who is helped will fall, and all of them will come to an end together.
This prophetic instruction applies to America today as much as it did to Israel in Isaiah’s day. It is actually a reference to God’s instructions to the future kings of Israel in Deuteronomy 17:16,
16 Moreover, he shall not multiply horses for himself, nor shall he cause the people to return to Egypt to multiply horses, since the Lord has said to you, “You shall never again return that way.”
This is really a command to rely upon God alone for the nation’s defense. To rely upon military strength is to “return to Egypt.” If the nation continued to follow God, they would not need a huge buildup of military might. God is perfectly capable of defending His people. Furthermore, if a godly nation treats its neighbors by the golden rule, there is less chance that those nations would be angry enough to attack the godly nation.
In the past century, we came under the final phase of the beast empires that is known as Mystery Babylon. A “mystery” is something hidden or secret. It is a secret government. The rulers of this hidden government use the term “conspiracy theorist” to describe anyone who actually sees that they exist.
The structure of this hidden government was set up by distributing power to three independent City-States, or power centers. The spiritual power base was the Vatican; the economic power base was the City of London; the military power base was Washington D.C. Hence, the prophetic “horses” in Isaiah’s prophecy apply specifically to Washington D.C.
The True “Horse”
Our prayer was that the overcomers would set the spiritual pattern of relying on God rather than men and upon God’s true “horse,” Jesus Christ, rather than upon the power of flesh. The name Jesus in Greek is Ie-sus. “Ie” is the Greek spelling of the Hebrew name Yah, or Yahweh. “Sus” is the Hebrew word for “horse.” Hence, the name of Jesus is actually the Greek spelling of the Hebrew word for God’s Horse.
The law and the prophets show that the horse is a symbol of salvation, especially in a military context. Hence, we use an old expression, “saved by the cavalry.” But our salvation comes from Jesus, not from fleshly horses. In fact, Jesus’ Hebrew name Yeshua means “salvation,” and for this reason the New Testament writers often use the name of Jesus as a synonym for salvation.
While Mary was yet pregnant, an angel appeared to Joseph in a dream, telling him in Matthew 1:21,
21 She will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus; for He will save his people from their sins.
When Jesus was born, He was brought to the temple on the 40th day, where an old man named Simeon said in Luke 2:29, 30,
29 Now, Lord, You are releasing Your bond-servant to depart in peace, according to Your word; 30 For my eyes have seen Your salvation.
Our prayer on July 11, 2001 was to strengthen the overcomers so that they would not return to Egypt by relying on fleshly strength or military might. We must rely on Christ Himself, and the military must play only a secondary role. If the military is led by the Spirit, then God will use them for a good purpose.
In fact, I believe that God is actually working through the military by turning their hearts to rely fully upon Jesus Christ. Something very profound is happening in the US military, and it appears that the military is taking the lead in bringing America back to God.
The context of this prayer was the spiritual battle on July 11, but it also applied to the situation in which we found ourselves two months later on September 11. Unfortunately, the country as a whole reacted to the Twin Towers demolition by demanding a military response, which God said would cause us to return to Egypt. This so-called “war on terror” has continued for many years and is still with us at the present time in 2021.
Nonetheless, the overcomers are setting the pattern for the nation to follow at some point in time. The authority of the house of David and the house of Joseph is real, and this means the world will ultimately follow their decrees and their example of faith. It is only a matter of time.
