We have taken the five ministry gifts (Evangelists, Pastors, Teachers, Prophets, and Apostles) as an outline for the courses of Bible study in this School.
Our purpose is to equip those who are ministering with a knowledge of the Word, so that each will be more effective in fulfilling his or her calling.
Learn MoreAfter World War 2, an anti-colonial movement built up, resulting in many independent African nations which had previously been ruled by European countries. However, this change in status made only minor changes in practice, because the former colonial powers made sure that they still retained economic control, especially control over Africa’s vast natural resources.
It took only a relatively small amount of money to buy African leaders who would rule as proxies for the former colonial powers. This allowed European mining operations to continue to strip the nation of its gold, uranium, and other minerals. These raw materials were shipped directly to Europe, where they were processed and sold at much high prices. It left Africa without significant industry and the people in a state of poverty for decades.
Then three African nations in West Africa, all former French colonies, revolted against their hidden masters—Mali, Niger, and Burkina Faso. Just a few years ago, a new anti-colonial movement caught the imagination of the people and began to spread quickly throughout the region. This threatens to bankrupt France, whose budget depends on its African neo-colonies.
The latest news is from Niger, which recently told the USA to withdraw its troops and close its military base. The US government stalled, hoping to overthrow the government and install a new president who was on the CIA’s payroll. But they failed. Niger has now told the US troops that they are restricted and cannot leave the base.
Congressman Matt Gaetz reacted furiously, calling the president a thug and a criminal. He seems to think that Niger is now an American colony and that Niger has no right to expel US troops. I have been following the African independence movement news for many months now, and I believe that it is now too big to suppress. The president of Burkina Faso has thwarted at least 18 assassination attempts, some planned and funded by the CIA. Such policies have only backfired by causing these countries to seek alliances with Russia—and this infuriates the proponents of the American Empire.
Thus, it is important for us to keep up on the news from Africa. In America we get very little news about Africa. Here is an informative video from an African perspective.
Dr. Stephen Jones has been writing blog posts since 2005 on a variety of topics from Bible Studies to World News, and he has been writing books since 1992. Dr. Jones' most important writings came after God brought him back into the full-time ministry in 1991. It is here that all his earlier years of searching the Scriptures began to come into clear focus. He combines a knowledge of the Old and New Testaments with a personal revelation of God that began and developed during the "wilderness" period of his life, which he often refers to as God's True Bible College...
