The rise of the house of Joseph, part 10

The house of Joseph has the calling and right to bring forth the manifested sons of God. There are others, however, who oppose Joseph. Some do not want the sons of God to be manifested, because they have a different view of the plan of God—or, in some cases, they support the dark side. Others believe that another house has this calling, and so they oppose those who are truly called. Still others believe that their house is the house of Joseph, but yet they lack the fruit that God requires. Still others go about their business, not knowing that there is a house of Joseph.

The true house of Joseph (as I believe) came on the heels of the house of David that received its full authority on November 30, 2000. Joseph was opposed on January 29, 2001. God confirmed the calling on February 21, 2001. Immediately, the war began with the golden calves, which ended on March 24, 2001 with God granting America a divorce from her false husbands/lovers.

Every victory, it seems, is both an end and a new beginning. Our spiritual enemies remain in a state of disagreement with God. That is their state of blindness. More battles were to come. We knew this at the time, because (if you recall), on March 19 God had indicated that there would be an attack upon Corpus Christi “on the 25^th” that was later clarified as April 25^th.

The Wedding Proposal

The day after the great divorce, God began to prepare us for the next phase of the work of “blessing.” As my wife and I prayed together, He said this on March 25, 2001:

“Now that the Princes have been imprisoned, you can now begin to overthrow and imprison the Commanders and Powers under Satan. Call the others into spiritual warfare to accomplish this. This battle will last three days, beginning June 19.”

I had two mailing lists in those days. The general mailing list was for people to receive the Foundation For Intercession teaching bulletins each month. The other was for a more limited group of friends who understood spiritual warfare. Essentially, I shared with them my private notes and records from 1994-2004, calling these The Lord’s Doing.

So He said this on March 27, 2001:

“You are to issue a Call to Arms to The Lord’s Doing mailing list for the June 19 battle. Do not send this notice to the FFI mailing list… The purpose of this prayer campaign is for the salvation of America as a nation, rather than for the people as individuals. Those who respond to the Call to Arms will represent the Overcomers. This prayer campaign will be sufficient to take captive all the Commanders and Powers in America. Their overthrow signifies a full end of America’s harlotry relationship to false gods.

“The name of the prayer campaign is to be taken from Colossians 3:18.”

Looking up this verse, we were surprised to read, “Wives, be subject to your husbands as is fitting in the Lord.” What?? Darla and I had a good laugh!

The Lord, however, was serious. So I asked, “Lord, what is the key operative word in this verse by which to name the prayer campaign?”

“Husbands” was the reply, and with this word came a key insight.

“Is America the wife in this?”

“Yes, America is to submit to Me as her Husband. This is a marriage proposal for a New Covenant wedding. America is to marry Me, as well as the Overcomers, for we are one Body. The date of the betrothal is June 19.”

“Do those who respond to this prayer call represent Christ proposing marriage to America?”

“Yes. They also represent the Bride in accepting the marriage proposal. The Husband is the full complete Body of Christ, consisting of Me as the Head and the overcomers as the rest of the Body. America’s Princes were her lovers and husbands. Once they were overthrown on March 24, you should consider America to be divorced from these false gods.

“In the prayer campaign, you are to make a decree, a written proposal of marriage. All who respond to the prayer call are automatically saying AMEN to this marriage proposal.”

“What shall we call this prayer campaign?”

“Call it We Accept Your New Covenant Marriage Proposal.”

This word astounded me at the time, for I had not expected such an unusual prayer campaign. It brought back memories from five months earlier when we had celebrated the feast of Tabernacles in October 2000. Recall that this feast saw the crowning of King David as king over all Israel just before the conquest of Jerusalem on November 30.

We had also received the revelation, “No longer consider yourselves to be separate from Christ.” We were to function fully as Christ’s hands and feet on the earth, being in full agreement with Him. The feast had included the wedding between Richard and Sharon, and we saw this in terms of the marriage between the Head and the Body.

So the marriage proposal that was revealed the following month of March was really based upon the revelation that had been given to us at Tabernacles of 2000.

On March 29, I asked for more details in regard to this “Call to Arms.” I asked, “In blessing America, did You ask us to do this specifically because America is Your Bride-to-be?”

“Yes. As you do so, the blessing of Genesis 12:3 promised to Abraham is applicable to you. The blessing is fulfilled when I turn each one from their iniquity. America will be turned from her iniquity. It is My intent to make America a glorious Bride that reflects My glory. America will be just the first nation that I marry, for other Israelite nations will join America as the Kingdom of God later.”

Considering how the nation had been leavened over the centuries, this was good news. To the natural mind, this seemed to be a hopeless task, but with God all things are possible. God’s promises will be fulfilled, even if it takes a very long time.

A Preemptive Attack on April 23-24

The Commanders and Powers on the opposing side of this warfare were attacking Corpus Christi, the Body of Christ, by trying to prevent this New Covenant marriage. So this was both warfare and a marriage proposal.

In mid-April 2001, while I was out of town on a teaching trip, the Lord spoke to my wife and my youngest daughter (Audra) that there were four demonic Powers who intended to carry out this attack on Corpus Christi. When I returned home from the trip, I prayed further about this on April 17, and the Lord said,

“There are four Powers planning to attack Corpus Christi. The Prince of Influence was originally planning this attack. These Powers were in his downline before he was imprisoned. You and Robert are to launch a preemptive strike by issuing a decree in agreement on April 23 at 1:47 p.m. (PST). This battle will end at 1:47 p.m. PST the next day, April 24.”

“What Scripture deals with these Powers?”

“Galatians 3:15, particularly the phrase, ‘man’s covenant’.”

“Is this phrase, ‘man’s covenant,’ something that we are doing?”

“No, it is something THEY are doing. You are to annul their covenant, for this is the heart of the matter. Man’s covenant is the counterpart to the New Covenant marriage proposal that I am presenting to the Bride in June.”

That was a relief. I certainly did not want to get involved in any of man’s covenants, which are  based on the Old Covenant vows that men make.

A few days later, on April 20, I asked, “Is America under the covenant with death prophesied in Isaiah 28:15?”

“Yes, since Jeroboam set up the golden calves in Israel.  America’s divorce from the false gods took place March 24, but the work yet needs to be completed April 24, for the Commanders and Powers are attempting to renew the covenant with death.

“The marriage covenant with death is to be annulled on April 24 on the grounds that Abraham’s seed was promised to Me in marriage by an unconditional covenant. Under the covenant with Moses, when I gave Israel a divorce, she was free to remarry whom she will. But under the covenant with Abraham, Israel was promised to Me alone. Hence, I am not satisfied with a mere divorce from the golden calves but will also annul the marriage from the start, so that the children from this unholy union have no claim to rule this nation.

“I will lay a new foundation in America on June 19 as prophesied in Isaiah 28:16.”

So we learned that God intended not only to grant America a divorce but also to disinherit “the children from this unholy union.” Those children of the flesh were to have no claim to rule in the Kingdom. Yet because the four Powers had plotted to attack Corpus Christi in an attempt to continue ruling over the Body of Christ, we were given legal cause to do a preemptive attack.

This action was to annul that (marriage) covenant with death from the beginning. This essentially annulled Jeroboam’s act of marrying Israel to the golden calves. We were to replace the four demonic Powers with four angels.

1.     The Angel of Assignment brings people fully into their callings.

2.     The Angel of Belief brings people into the place where they can appropriate through faith that which has been established.

3.     The Angel of Mentoring teaches and demonstrates the life of Christ in order to manifest His glory (John 2:11).

4.     The Angel of Support gives godly support to the children of the promise. This support is needed so that we may admonish evil with a right spirit and to support the work of the Spirit. God gave us Colossians 1:10 in relation to this angel:

¹⁰ so that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.

Our preemptive attack was successful, and it removed the obstacle that threatened the marriage proposal that was scheduled for June 19, 2001.

This proposal, in turn, was to be the prerequisite for the prophetic conception, birth, and manifestation of the sons of God in the house of Joseph.
